Weather Conditions

School may be cancelled in the event of inclement weather. Full day programs will close for weather conditions only in the event of a level II emergency.

You are encouraged to listen to the media for closing information. Please refrain from calling the school to inquire about a school closing as this places an added burden on the school staff. Closings are announced between 6:00 am and 8:00 am on the following sources:

• Local radio

• Local television channels

Other Emergencies

Other situations may result in Sienna Montessori School being closed at the discretion of the Administrator. These include, but are not limited to the following situations:

• Electrical power failure
• Lack of water
• Epidemic (25% of children or staff out due to illness)
• Other situations that may endanger the safety or health of children or employees
